Machine Operator (Production) Position Available In Bucks, Pennsylvania

Job Description:

Must have experience operating any kind of Machinery in amanufacturing Plant.

Position Purpose:

To assure a quality productis efficiently produced and packed to specification throughexpected equipment output to ensure an on time delivery to thecustomer.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow andidentify proper safety procedures including the use of all safetyequipment, personal protective gear and safety glasses.
• Produceall product in a quality manner, effectively and efficientlymeeting all specifications required by the customer.
• Safelyoperate injection molding equipment by monitoring efficiency outputon hourly basis.
• Ensure scrap rate for product does not exceedallowable limits as dictated by bill of materials.
• Monitor allequipment down lights to ensure 100% uptime of equipment. oProperly fill out maintenance down tickets when equipment is notproducing at the expected output or functioning properly.
• Troubleshoot equipment as required and communicate issues with bothmaintenance, floater and/or production supervisor.
• Accuratelycomplete traceability forms, online check sheets, and recordproduction data, enter data into computer, verify that correctlabels are applied to boxes and production information is correct.
• Reference computer HMI to ensure schedule is accurately followedalong with any notes as required per job.
• Support product packerby identifying/correcting/communicating any problems which requiremaintenance.
• Initiate all copy/color changes in a timely mannerensuring product quality meets specification before production runbegins. o Ensure QA approves line before starting new jobs.
• Notify Floater/Supervisor of any material, product, paperwork, orequipment issues to ensure timely resolution and not affectcustomer shipments.
