Position Summary:

This position is to assemble,package and inspect medical devices in accordance with the qualityand production standards established by our organization. Thisincludes working with chemicals, machines and measurementequipment. This position must follow procedures, policies andapplicable regulatory policies to meet the requirements of ourQuality Policy.

Responsibilities:

Essential Duties

  • Followsestablished procedures and guidelines to manufacture theorganizations products according to specifications and schedules;volume, cost and waste targets; quality standards.
  • Operatesmachines and production equipment safely and in accordance withinstructions.
  • Monitors the quality of output to identify, discardor remanufacture products.
  • Maintains accurate daily productionrecords so that manufacturing performance can be collected andanalyzed.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Required to applybasic working knowledge of technical field/area of specialization.

Exercises general application of principles, theories and concepts,and proposes a course of action. Performs basic level shop floorcompetencies.

  • Normally receives detailed instructions on allwork. Work is typically checked and monitored on a routine basis.
  • May require some limited judgement in resolving problems.
  • Contacts are primarily with direct supervisor, peers andsubordinates.

  • Ability to use finemotor skills and pay attention to detail
  • Possess strong handdexterity for intricate hand assembly
  • Problem solve to improvequality and processes, using lean tools
  • Prior manufacturingexperience involving intricate hand assembly is preferred
  • Havegood reading comprehension and math skills
  • Ability to communicatein a professional manner, both written and verbal
  • Flexibility towork, based on business demands/needs
  • Ability to work effectivelyin a team environment
  • Ability to rotate across positions withinthe business unit
  • Have basic computer skills
Expertise:
Qualifications-Experience/Training/Education/Etc Required:
  • Highschool diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
  • 0-01 years relatedexperience OR PBS requirements completed and pass assessment atappropriate level.
  • Applicable industry/professional certificationpreferred.
  • Ability to work non-standard schedule as needed.
  • Regular and predictable on-site attendance.
