The 3rd shift Production Employee at Barchemy is a very important position. Your role as our Production Employee requires critical thinking, good use of judgement and communication to be successful. Our Production Employee position is one where you will be kept busy vs one where you will stand by a single machine all day.

Production Employee Responsibilities:

• Cross train on all operating machines (mixers used for building products, mills used for breaking down the ingredients in products & production line set ups used to run the finished product) as well as flexibility with schedule – work extended hours when needed including occasional weekends.

The third shift does not run the production lines. Their responsibility is to build up available product to ensure consistent uptime on 1st and 2nd shift.

• Perform and comply with all Barchemy system procedures, Good Manufacturing practices, preventative maintenance procedures including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, floors and any other areas as needed all with an extremely high attention to detail
• Ability to adhere to strict production processes as laid out by management, as well as consistency with production checklists to ensure processes are being followed accurately
• Ability to work well within a team-oriented atmosphere.

You will work together with those assigned to your team to accomplish common goals

Production Employee Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 2 years’ experience in production position, preferred but will train the right individual
• Ability to work in a plant manufacturing/warehouse setting with noises, exposure to hot and cold temperatures, work independently as well as in a team, read, write, speak English and be physically able to push, squat and bend all with a great “can do” attitude Barchemy offers an above industry standard hourly wage commensurate with experience and performance as well as a benefits package.
