The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of hands-on and semi-automated assembly tasks using specialized fixtures, jigs, and inspection tools. This includes bending, cutting, gluing, and UV curing. In addition to assembly work, Assemblers support quality by assisting with sorting activities, which may involve 100% inspection of parts to identify and separate out defects. Team members must be detail-oriented, flexible, and capable of learning new equipment and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Manually place cannulas into plastic hubs, epoxy, and position for curing using UV light.
Place parts in fixtures for secondary operations such as bending, cutting, and tip guarding.
Perform inspection of finished assemblies using gauges and measurement instruments.
Assist with sorting and quality inspection tasks, including 100% inspection of parts when required to identify defects or nonconforming material.
Complete required quantity per work order to meet production and customer demand.
Weigh parts and record counts accurately on production logs.
Maintain a clean,anized, and safe workstation.
Learn and demonstrate the ability to operate semi-automated tip assembly machines (training provided).
Show a willingness to cross-train and support other departments or tasks as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Experience:
Prior machine operation experience is a plus but not required.
Must be capable of training and learning semi-automated equipment.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with small parts.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
Some mechanical capability & basicputer skills require
Detail-oriented, self-starter with a passion to deliver excellence is essential
Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Ability to read, write andmunicate in English as it relates to this position and safety required

Pay Details:
$17.00 per hour
