General Production Worker Job Description We are seeking a skilled General Production Worker to operate and maintain various fabrication machines, ensuring quality and efficiency in our production processes. This role involves machine setup, adjustments, quality inspections, and documentation while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness. Responsibilities Operate various fabrication machines such as press brakes, lathes, mills, and punch presses. Set up machines according to production specifications and adjust as needed. Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications and make necessary adjustments. Maintain accurate records of production and quality control. Perform routine maintenance activities like die sharpening and shimming. Follow all safety rules and protocols. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Assist with inventory management and track material usage. Collaborate with the production team to ensure workflow efficiency. Essential Skills Industrial machinery operation Blueprint reading Fabrication skills 2-3+ years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing Ability to read a tape measure Strong mechanical aptitude Capacity to lift at least 50-80lbs Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in steel fabrication Strong problem-solving skills Understanding of blueprints and dimensions Experience with press brake, steel fabrication, roll forming, punch press, sheet metal, machining Ability to use calipers, lathe, mill, tape measure Troubleshooting skills Crane operation Why Work Here?
