Job Purpose:
The Production Associate is responsiblefor providing support to the Melt/Spin and Finishing Department,ensuring that the production and efficiency of the line meetsoperational standards.
Requirements:
Job Duties:
- Learn and gain aclear understanding of the finishing department’s operations.
- Undertake to learn and function effectively in multiple positionswithin the Melt/Spin and Finishing department.
- Assist theSupervisor in supporting team members and ensuring that daily goalsare communicated in a timely manner.
- Provide coverage for variousjobs during break times and as needed.
- Other duties as assignedby Supervisor and/or Manager.
RequirementsEducation /
Training:
- High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of 1-year previousmanufacturing experience.
- 1-year experience in a lead role aplus.
- Adhere to safety policies and practices.
Skills /
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in production, manufacturingor other related fields.
- Familiarity with Manufacturing machineryand equipment.
- Employee must be able to work in hot and coldenvironments.
- Ability to stand for 12 hours shifts on concretefloors.
- Ability to move quickly from one process to the other.
- Good hand/eye coordination for staple process.
- High level ofteamwork orientation.
- Average to above average communicationskills.
- Must pass post-off background check and drugtest.
