Production Operator – 1st shift 3.7 3.7 out of 5 stars Travelers Rest, SC 29690 We have an excellent opportunity for people with Production Operator experience for one of our clients in Travelers Rest, SC. It’s a 1st shift position working five 10-hour shifts per week (50 hours). Schedule is 6:00am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute Lunch, so Overtime is built in already. WEEKLY Qualifications:
Must have a High School diploma or GED Background/Drug screen will be completed Demonstrated ability to understand basic principles of electroplating operations. Skill and knowledge to handle chemicals and acids in preparation of plating baths. Ability to use and operate measuring instruments, statistical process and wet chemical testing common to the trade. Good communication, reading and math skills and ability to follow verbal and written instructions. Practice safe work habits, maintain equipment and work areas in a 5S environment. Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
Review work order instructions and blueprint specifications. Determine appropriate set up based on order requirements, and schedule. Responsible for product flow through plating area to meet required deadlines. Maintain accurate records and logs of processes, materials and results. Follow company policies as outlined in Employee Handbook, Health & Safety Manual and Emergency Response Plan. Adhere to Quality Policy and Standard Operating Procedures. Other assigned duties and cross training as determined by business conditions and supervision.
