Production Operator IMS- Industrial Manufacturing Services Lancaster, SC 29720 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various machine processes and a strong understanding of production operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. Hours are 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday. Responsibilities Operate and maintain production machinery, including electrical discharge machining and laser cutting equipment. Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers to ensure product specifications are met. Fabricate components from sheet metal using lathes and other tooling equipment. Perform welding tasks as required to assemble parts and components. Conduct routine inspections of machinery and tools to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot production issues and implement solutions. Maintain a clean and organized work area, always adhering to safety protocols. Requirements Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Familiarity with electrical discharge machining, laser cutting, sheet metal fabrication, lathe operation, and tooling processes. Strong mathematical skills for precise measurements and calculations. Ability to read blueprints effectively. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
