Position Summary:
Shimadzu isseeking a Video Production Specialist who will work closely withour Marketing team to create high-quality, engaging video contentfor YouTube, social media, websites, trade shows, and more. If youhave a passion for storytelling through video, a strong technicalbackground, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment,this is the role for you! A strong portfolio demonstrating videoediting skills and creative abilities is required.
JOB FUNCTIONSINCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Develop videos for customer-facing platforms such as YouTube,social media, and trade shows. Operate video production equipment including cameras, lighting,and audio equipment. Edit videos in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, and Audition.
Perform tasks like color correction, audio cleanup, and ensuringhigh production quality consistent with Shimadzu’s brand. Collaborate on brainstorming, storyboarding, and transformingconcepts into visually compelling multimedia. Manage multiple video projects, prioritize tasks, and ensuredeadlines are met. Optimize videos for multiple formats and environments, trackvideo analytics, and engage with current trends. Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and internal teams tocreate videos for meetings, presentations, and more.
EDUCATION ANDQUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in videography, film, or a relatedfield. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on video productionexperience. Proficient in Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Audition, and DSLRcamera operation. Strong creative and technical skills in video editing andproduction. Familiarity with YouTube’s algorithm, analytics and socialmedia trends. Compensation &Benefits:
This non-exempt, full-time position offers a startingsalary range of $57,000 to $60,000 annually, paid semi-monthly.
Eligible benefits include a 401K matching program and discretionaryyearly contributions, with detailed information provided at thefinal interview stage. In your first year, you will receive 10 paidvacation days, 8 paid personal days, 8 scheduled holidays, and 3floating holidays. After one year, you’ll have access to a generousshort-term disability program, with premiums fully covered by thecompany. Employees are insured at 100% of their salary for thefirst 6 weeks and 66 2/3% for weeks 7 to 12.As a non-exempt role,you will also be eligible for overtime and double time payaccording to employee handbook guidelines. Additional variablecompensation may include a discretionary year-end bonus based onoverall company performance.
