Production Operator 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars 5899 North Main Street, Cowpens, SC 29330 Summary Role and Responsibilities Feed material into production lines, pull away containers of waste materials and finished products, perform routine manual waste collection tasks throughout lines, perform routine ancillary tasks to support production (set up/break down boxes, load empty supersacks into baler, stack skids, etc.), and assist with loading/unloading trucks as needed Constantly evaluate and execute housekeeping needs throughout department areas Strive to meet consistent production goals while keeping labor costs down to meet incentivization goals Follow all safety policies Maintain all required documentation Inspecting material for quality and accuracy during the production process All other duties and tasks as may be directed from time to time Ability to process information to make decisions and act quickly Ability to complete written reports legibly and accurately Ability to adhere to effective schedules Strong attention to detail Competent written and oral communication skills Strong problem solving and time management skills Ability to operate a forklift in a safe and effective manner Ability to lift sixty pounds Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, moisture and dirty environments ​​Qualifications and Education Requirements​ High School diploma or equivalent
