SUMMARY:

The Lead Person-Upper Drum Dock, 3rd shift, reports to the assigned Supervisor/Manager. This position is responsible for ensuring incoming drum loads are received within schedule and any receiving issues are documented and reported accordingly.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with scheduling and sales to ensure optimal loads received while maintaining area compliance Reporting to the supervisor any scheduling or receiving conflicts Accurately complete any necessary operating documents Lead team meetings and shift change reporting daily Complete proper receiving paperwork and receiving log Training and acclimate new hires Ensure all resamples and off spec requests are completed within policy procedure Work with container expeditor to ensure all out bound loads are optimized Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations Ensure all safety regulations are adhered to Follow all EHS and Operating procedures Other duties as assigned by manager.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education Minimum HS Diploma or equivalent Experience Internal candidates must have completed a level 4 certification or plan to achieve level 4 certification Job requirements Wear all required PPE in compliance with Environmental Health and Safety guidelines Overtime, off shift, and weekend work

ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Prior leadership experience Maintain flexibility to achieve production goals DOT, RCRA, and HAZCOM training is a plus, but not required for employment. Training will be provided annually for all employees Working knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office applications Prior hazardous waste experience 11:00 pm – 8:00 am
