May be a specialist with depth and/or breadth of knowledge in their own discipline or field, or may be a specialist in Rolls-Royce’s products and solutions and how they are differentiated from the competition. Represents a critical resource to the “run and maintain” activity of a business, taking an active role in resolving current problems. Supports other technical specialists to advance knowledge in their capability area.

What you will be doing:

With this attractive opportunity you’ll get a chance to: Interact with customers to understand technical requirements & resolve issues Provide program management for individual part portfolio Troubleshoot manufacturing problems & root cause analysis Develop new, and refine existing investment casting product to reduce scrap, rework, and manufacturing costs Support manufacturing to ensure on-time delivery of product through all operations Work concurrently with customers to design components for castability Maintain customer relationships through joint resolution of issues Maintain and improve casting scrap and rework Improve casting profitability through cost reductions Achieve cost reduction through process improvements Develop and refine manufacturing work instructions Develop casting processes for new and existing products Assist in quotation of new products Achieve cost targets for development and production castings Establish and achieve milestones for casting development Guide and mentor other Manufacturing Engineers in the above activities Who we’re looking for: At Rolls-Royce we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience Must be a U.S. Citizen to be eligible for consideration Understanding of Intellectual Property and Export Control requirements Preferred qualifications: Previous investment casting or aerospace experience, single crystal casting experience a plus Advanced knowledge of statistical process control Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt What we offer: We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, and exceptional benefits.
