Overall Scope
The Process Technician will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their manufacturing areas. This includes performing a variety of tasks related to production, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The successful candidate will ensure that all operations are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and policies. The Process Technician works in close collaboration with the other members of the manufacturing team to ensure a consistently high level of quality and productivity.

Hours:

1st shift Primary work hours are between 6:00a•4:30p Monday•Thursday. Over time as needed
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent. Prefer technical school degree.
Minimum of two years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Proven knowledge of general production machinery and equipment
Able to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Experience using various hand tools (e.g. wrenches, drills, torque wrenches, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities and Duties
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery and equipment
Monitor and adjust machinery and equipment to maintain quality standards and production output
Assist Operators in machine set up if necessary
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment on a scheduled basis
Escalate issues to Maintenance Department / Manufacturing Engineer as needed
Perform project work as assigned by the Production Supervisor and / or Manufacturing Engineer
Investigate non-conforming product and make recommendations
Assist with equipment changeovers as needed
Maintain communication with area Coordinator and Supervisor regarding process issues
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
Other duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor
Ergonomic Focus
Most time will be spent on the manufacturing floor•with some time spent behind a desk
Standing / walking / bending / kneeling / squatting during up to a 12-hour work shift
Lifting up to 25 lbs occasionally
