Experience in fabrication shop preferred:

drilling, sanding, grinding, welding. Must be able to accurately read a tape measure. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our manufacturing operations by assisting with various tasks in the shop. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with both power and hand tools. The Shop Assistant will contribute to maintaining an efficient workflow and ensuring high-quality standards in our production processes. Responsibilities Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Assist in the assembly of components, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Support fabrication processes, including grinding, sanding, cutting and drilling metal. Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality. Perform routine maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
