Responsibilities include : Directing the work of the finishing line personnel and placing personnel to optimize productivity for production schedule attainment. Trains new personnel on safety, quality, proper hanging procedures, and productivity goals. Performs regular checks of wet dip paint and wash systems. Maintains paint levels, paint/washer temperatures, may adjust finishing line speed and operating hours. Sequences parts to load by schedule and ensure parts are not mixed on a hanger, line, or loaded skids. This position requires you to be on your feet and continually lift weights of approximately 50 pounds onto moving overhead conveyor in a non-temperature-controlled environment. Prior recent experience directing the work of others in a manufacturing environment is required. Prior finishing line experience with dip paint or powder coating and wash systems preferred. Successful applicants must have a proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment where a high degree of accuracy is required. Successful applicants must pass tape measure reading test, must demonstrate successful hands-on forklift operation, must pass drug screen and 7-year background check for misdemeanors and felonies. This position typically works approximately 50 hours per week with occasional additional overtime as required to meet customer demands. We are currently offering a double time for all overtime hours worked incentive. Base schedule 5:00 am until 3:30 pm Monday through Friday most weeks as required to meet customer demands.

Pay progression:

$24.75 start, $25.75 at 90 days, $26.75 at 1 year Full time benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance availability first of month after 30 days of service, 40 hours vacation after 6 months of service, 80 hours vacation after 1 year of service, 10 hours of paid sick time every 90 days of service until you have completed 1 year of service, then 30 hours of paid sick time annually, 401k with 100% match up to 4% following 1 year of service, 9 paid holidays, employer paid short and long term disability, $1.00/hour night shift differential and 1 year pay progression top out. We are currently offering a Double Time incentive for ALL overtime hours worked.
