Job Description:

Responsible for learning how to maintain sharp tools to perform their job task correctly. Responsible for making precision cuts to carcass that allows for correct further processing to achieve desired carcass yield.
Average training time may require 2-3 months.
Must also adheres to good safety practices, food safety policies, andpany policies. Responsible for setting up area with all needed equipment.
Monitor production area for trash and food debris on floor.
Perform various other tasks as assigned by Lead person, Supervisor or Superintendent.
Must clean up area at end of production shift, including but not limited to sweeping, picking up debris from the floor, and spraying work areas.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Must be willing and able to work on and around machinery and chemicals.
Must be willing and able to perform the following task for periods of up to 12 hours on concrete floor, some of which may include but is not limited to standing, stooping, walking, climbing, and lifting.
Must be willing and able to work in temperatures less than or equal to 35 degrees. Fahrenheit temperature for minimum of 8 hours.
Must be willing and able toplete cycles in less than 20 seconds.
Must be willing and able to work in a wet environment.
Must have 6 MThs continuous employment in the last 18 months. Preferred candidates will have at least 6 MThs of relevant machine operator, warehouse, agriculture or production experience.
