$40,700 – $40,701 per year
shift: First
work hours: 4 AM – 2:30 PM
education: High School Responsibilities Operator is responsible for machine set-up, roll steel to form bends, flatten or reduce gauge of material. Also responsible for adjusting machine set-ups to reduce thickness, reshape products, and eliminate product defects. Examine, inspect, and measure raw material and finished products to ensure conforms to specifications. Thread or feed sheet through rolling mechanisms and controls mechanisms that automatically feed steel into rollers. The essential functions of this role include:
working in a smoke free environment
wearing steel toe shoes
working in a non-temperature controlled environment
manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 10 hours at one time
working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week Skills
