Press Operator Position Available In Hickman, Tennessee

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Press Operator to join our team. The Press Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining press machines to produce high-quality steel tubes. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Set Up and Operation:

Prepare and operate press machines according to job specifications, including installing dies, adjusting settings, and loading materials.

Quality Control:

Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards.

Maintenance:

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on press machines to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of production, maintenance activities, and quality checks.

Safety Compliance:

Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe operating procedures.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with other team members to ensure efficient production processes and address any issues promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a press operator or in a similar manufacturing role. Strong mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment.

Working Conditions:

Full-time position with competitive salary and benefits. Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, heat, and heavy machinery. Must be able to lift and move materials as required. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
