Knoxville, TN Manufacturing and Corporate Island Campus Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Vinyl Fabric Welding Equipment Operator to join our Pool Covers Manufacturing team. This role combines hands-on operation of advanced industrial fabric welding equipment with responsibilities similar to those of our Manufacturing Assistants, such as material preparation and quality checks. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and maintain industrial fabric welding equipment for sealing and joining vinyl flexible materials. Set up and adjust machine parameters (temperature, speed, seam width) for various materials and project requirements. Measure, cut, and prepare vinyl sheet material for welding and assembly. Assist with assemble of track mechanisms and perform quality checks before packing covers for shipment. Collaborate with the production team to streamline workflows and meet project deadlines. Assist with periodic inventory and handle materials using pallet jacks or forklifts (after authorization). Skills and Qualifications Experience operating industrial vinyl fabric welding equipment (hot air, hot wedge, or RF). Basic mathematics and measuring skills. Manufacturing experience. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift/push/pull 50-75 lbs. Why Join Us?
