Join Our Team as a Manufacturing Assistant! Here at Explore Industries, we are seeking Manufacturing Assistants to join our Pool Covers Manufacturing team. This onsite position is located in Knoxville, TN, on our Corporate and Manufacturing Island Campus.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Manufacturing Assistant, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on fabricating swimming pool covers and operational mechanisms.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

Measuring and cutting vinyl sheet material. Heat welding panels and assisting with the sewing process. Adding attachments according to customer specifications. Assembling cover track mechanisms. Performing quality checks before assisting with packing covers for shipment. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Assisting with periodic inventory. Handling materials, which may include using pallet jacks and forklifts (after authorization). We are looking for candidates who are eager to learn multiple tasks as part of a work system that requires teamwork. Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Basic mathematics and measuring skills. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks in various stages, with attention to detail and product quality. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Ability to lift, pull, and push materials (50 – 75 lbs).

Preferred Skills:

Experience in heat-seal welding, kit-building, fabricating, and material cutting. Proficiency with sewing machines and sewing, especially in an industrial setting. Experience using power and hand tools.
