Job Description This is a

TEMPORARY SUMMER VACATION COVERAGE

position. This position begins as early as May and will end on or before September 12th. Join our production team at GM’s largest facility in North America, located in, Spring Hill, TN! Make history and help us build the Cadillac LYRIQ in addition to a few of our SUV models!! They do important tasks like putting things together, using machines, checking for quality, changing tools, and solving problems with how things are made.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities) You prioritize safety and ensure that all work is done in a safe manner, contributing to a culture that values safety above all else You thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and can quickly adapt to changes in job duties as needed You take pride in doing high-quality work and can complete tasks within set timeframes You are skilled in using tools and machinery, including operating mobile equipment to move materials within the assembly plant. This equipment could operate at heights of up to 35 feet Ready to grow and contribute to our dynamic team Additional Job Description Physical Requirements Quick response to safety instructions, alarms, and signals are a must Ability to work and stand for extended periods Comfortably wear personal protective equipment Navigate a busy environment Bend, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach May need to lift or carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs. depending on department Occasional sitting during certain tasks Drive mobile equipment when needed Minimum Requirements 18+ years old Eligible to work in the United States Flexible shift availability including nights, weekends, and overtime as required Must be able to satisfactorily complete the General Motors hiring process requirements which includes drug testing and a background check Proficiency to listen, read, and follow work and safety instructions
