Entry Level Lumber Production Worker US Staffing Agency 1919 Tiny Town Road, Clarksville, TN 37042 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lumber Associate to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lumber products and the ability to work effectively in a warehouse environment. This role involves handling various types of wood materials, operating machinery, and ensuring that all products meet quality standards. The Lumber Associate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations and providing excellent service to our customers. Responsibilities Assist in the receiving, storing, and organizing of lumber products within the warehouse.

Lumber production handling:

stacking, pulling, moving, carrying, loading and unloading. May utilize hand tools and equipment for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood products as needed. Perform quality checks on lumber to ensure it meets specifications and standards. Collaborate with team members to build custom orders and fulfill customer requests. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency. Follow all safety protocols while working with machinery and tools. Other duties as assigned or necessary. Skills Able to stand, bend, lift, carry, and move around the warehouse without issue. Familiar and comfortable working partially outdoors and inside a warehouse. Basic programming skills for operating automated equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail. Previous experience as a carpenter or in a similar role is highly desirable. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Requirements Must pass a background check and drug screen. Pre-employment personality and work ethic assessment is required with a successful passing score. Reliable transportation. Willingness to work in various areas of the warehouse and be cross-trained. A minimum of 3 years working in a warehouse, production, construction setting. Ability to work well with others and follow instructions.
