Express Employment Professionals is currently seeking a Team Leader in Gallatin, TN for 3 rd Shift – 10:00 pm-6:30 am, Monday-Friday. Depending on workload, start time could be 8:00 pm or 9:00 pm

Team Leader:

Lead the production team (including performing hands-on production and assembly functions), mentor and motivate team members, maintain a positive and professional atmosphere and ensure individual and group productivity. Practice and promote safe work practices. Ensure compliance with established safety procedures including required Personal Protective Equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.), work place organization and cutting/lifting techniques. Notify appropriate personnel of equipment repairs and/or any unsafe conditions. Assist in the development and implementation of quality standards. Ensure team compliance to quality program standards, environmental regulations, environmental recycling programs, and associated goals and objectives. Maximize production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, train team members, and work with manufacturing engineering to implement new processes. Use ‘Project View’ to interpret assembly instructions; identify critical features, dimensions and quality requirements. Set up work cell following established layouts and lead activity within the cell in accordance with established manufacturing procedures and processes: lean product flow, staging of material, safe work practices, assembly team training, productivity goals, and scrap recording and in-process inspection requirements. Assist Supervisor/Coordinator in the evaluation of other employees. Performs other duties as required. Requirements of the

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) 3 years’ experience and/or training Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure including fractions Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memo in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees. Physical Requirements of the
