Job Summary:
Production Associates pay careful attention on the job, follow instructions precisely, work safely, and double-check his or her work before completing a task, all while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces of wood doors for staining by sanding, cleaning, and applying pre-stain conditioner as necessary. Apply stains and finishes evenly and consistently to achieve desired color and appearance. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning and maintaining staining equipment. Perform quality inspections to ensure finished products meet quality standards. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent Attendance Strong oral and written communications. Previous experience staining wood doors or similar wood finishing experience preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Able to follow written and verbal instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy doors as needed. Knowledge of different types of stains, finishes, and wood types is a plus.
