    • : The Hershey Company Memphis plant is a Non-Union plant producing products such as Ice Breakers, Breath Savers, and Good & Plenty, in a high-speed complex environment.

    Production is fast-paced and operators are expected to work in a variety of roles in processing and packaging within the plant. Operators are responsible for maintaining our highest quality of food safety standards, sanitation standards, perform daily audits, and complete daily production paperwork

    • : • Currently we are offering 6:00pm – 6:00am shift that follows a rotational schedule of 2-2-3 night schedule; we require that you are flexible to work any shift, weekends, overtime, and some holidays • Schedule assignment upon hire is determined by plant needs.

    Once your training period begins, you will be assigned to a shift and/or schedule based on current plant need.

    • You will be eligible to bid on other jobs, schedules and shifts after being in your assigned position for one year.
    • Mandatory overtime could be daily or weekly (additional 4 hours on your 8-hour shift) and weekends (8 to 12-hour shifts).

    e. metal detectors, date codes, and weight systems) and follow Autonomous Maintenance Programs (cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating equipment)

    • Observe all safety procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and good housekeeping practices
    • _Minimum Qualifications_
    • : • Must be at least 18 years of age • Must possess a high school diploma/GED • Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English • Must be flexible to work any shift during a 24-hour period (1st, 2nd, 3rd) and any variation of shift length (8 hours or 12 hours) • Must be available to work weekends, holidays and overtime • Must be authorized to work in the United States • Must have the ability to understand and perform basic mathematics • Must possess basic computer knowledge with ability to find and enter information • Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, supervisors, and support staff • Must participate in problem resolution • _Preferred Qualifications_•: Experience in a manufacturing/food manufacturing environment including the following: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Safe Quality Foods (SQF), Autonomous/Preventative Maintenance, Continuous Improvement, and Warehouse Management Systems such as SAP/LPR.

    • : • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
    • Work around operating equipment, stand, reach, stoop, crawl, bend and climb ladders
    • Work from heights and in confined spaces
    • Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
    • Work in variable temperatures (60-100 degrees Fahrenheit)
