Batch Specialist 1.7 1.7 out of 5 stars McMinnville, TN 37110 Overview We are seeking a dedicated Batch maker to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our production processes and maintaining high-quality standards. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced warehouse setting while adhering to safety protocols.
Job Summary:
- Receiving Work orders & batch sheets as a guide to make personal care products in a large tank.
Setting up daily for next batches. Performing testing & cleaning when needed daily. Completing every order with quality from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Using small and large scales to weigh proper measurements for chemicals in batches.
- Completing documentation & labeling for orders.
- Cleaning tank & work area when required.
- Completing PH, viscosity and any other testing needed for products.
- Completing equipment changeovers when needed for different products.
- Follow all safety procedures & use of proper PPE.
- Learning names & types of chemicals used to better understand process.
Skill/Qualifications/Requirements:
- Speaks English – with good communication skills.
- Self-motivated / Good time management skills.
- Basic math skills / use of scales and willing to learn different measurements.
- Experience with computers using Microsoft word & Excel.
- You can lift up to #60 repetitively over your head.
- Fast and flexible learner.
- Attention to detail & document control.
- Understanding of manufacturing environment & willingness to learn manufacturing equipment. Examples- Pumps and mixers.
- Flexibility to handle last-minute changes based on customer demand.
- Pallet jack & Electrical pallet jack experience required. “Bonus- Fork lift experience.”
- Willing to work with very hot and cold chemicals & environment.
- Work well with others, can be team player.
