Job Title:
Compression Mold Operator
Shift:
3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Training on 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM for a few weeks)
Job Summary:
The Compression Mold Operator performs manual operations and follows documented procedures on the Device History Record (DHR). This role involves operating molding equipment, performing inspections, and ensuring the production of high-quality parts across multiple product families.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify instruments and materials match information on the Device History Record (DHR).
Operate thepression molding machine to form parts, including measuring, counting/loading, and recording data.
Use the pre-form press machine to cut rubber according to DHR specifications.
Manually load and unloadpression mold machines, pre-form cutters, and post-cure fixtures.
Perform visual inspections and use gauges to check part quality.
Measure and inspect parts during operation and document all quality checks in the DHR.
Clean and maintain machines and forming molds.
Education:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education and work experience.
Experience:
No prior experience required; training will be provided.
Key Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to operate microscopes, gauges, and micrometers.
Comfortable handling small, sharp instruments.
Goodanizational skills and time management.
Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and correspondence.
Basic math skills: ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
Basicputer skills, including data entry and email applications.
Pay Details:
$14.75 per hour
