Technician I Location:
Sparta TN Duration•8 Months Pay rate: $18/hr
ROTATING SHIFTS
Worker will be working Sun. Wed. Thur. 36 hours•12 hours shifts one week Rotate to Mon. Tue. Fri. Sat. 48 hours next week… 40 hours reg with 8 hours overtime. 12 hours shift… working from 6:00 to 18:00 needing a worker for nights … 18:00 to 06:00 We have night position available and day. MUST be able to be flexible for required shift hours/weeks.
Qualifications:
TOP 3 required skills: Must be able to lift 50 lbs, forklift experience, High School Diploma or GED. This is a Temp-to-hire position.
NOTE:
•Online assessment is required and must be completed and passed PRIOR to interview confirmation 100% onsite
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED/SOUGHT
High School diploma or equivalent Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

) Become proficient at operating all production equipment (in the support class) with minimal supervision Demonstrate ability to act as a team player and support production goals for the business Complete orientation Complete a minimum of 90 days of training Complete 180-day (minimum) probation period Complete written and/or hands on training in the following areas Forklift, convey systems, making a blend, valves, feeder cleaning, Roving, line packout, STW, turnaround (end of line), cleaning pelletizers, and other miscellaneous items Maintain an acceptable attendance record Learn, understand, and support improvements as they are implemented throughout the plant Maintain a positive attitude and take the initiative to help others in order to foster teamwork Proficiency in completing paperwork with minimal amount of errors

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee is required to stand for sustained periods of time Employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty-five (55) pounds Employee may infrequently move (not lift) objects requiring up to seventy-five (75) pounds of force Position requires use of hands and fingers to operate, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls Employee is required to drive a tow motor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Position responsibilities include normal activities and tasks required in production Conduct routine safety and equipment inspections and utilize various reporting mechanisms to rectify issues Record proper operating and material information for production lot processing Operate manufacturing equipment according to production

procedures Process set-up instruction sheets, blend instruction sheets, etc. Prepare packaging for finished goods with proper labeling and materials identification Gather, stage, and load proper materials for product compounding Collect samples for QC and color testing Perform housekeeping to maintain production and operations in neat and orderly condition Operate peripheral and auxiliary equipment such as fume collection system, dust collection system, bulk pellet transfer systems, etc. Participate in problem-solving to make necessary equipment repairs or process corrections to maintain required production quality and volume Operate a forklift to move needed raw materials and scrap materials to properly designated areas Provide production or operations support as directed by Team Leader or other management Complete audits and inspections (total productive maintenance, housekeeping checklists, etc) Complete computer based self-assessment Complete required monthly training (classroom training, computer-based training, etc.) Alignment of these tasks and activities will be dependent upon team alignment of duties, as well as product volume and schedule mix, which may affect specific tasks required on any given day ET_PN01
