Job Description
Responsibilities:
Follow all safe work practices and procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Carryout verbal and written instructions from Foreman. Complete jobs in a timely fashion to ensure on time shipment. Lift raw materials, finished products, and packed items, manually or using hoists. Trained to complete pre-operation equipment inspections and report any issues identified. Trained to set up, adjust, and operate all basic machine tools. Read and interpret work instructions, then execute work per instructions. Work with quality and production teams to identify areas for process improvement High school diploma or equivalent, preferred At least 1 year of work experience in a production environment, preferred
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to accurately read a tape measure. Ability to work in a high paced environment while maintaining safety standards and following all safe work practices. A focus on prioritization, time efficiency, problem solving and teamwork. Ability to exert up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Average proficiency in mathematics. Good visual acuity.
