QC Analyst Position Available In Shelby, Alabama

You will be responsible for biological and chemical evaluation of raw materials in process, final release and stability samples ensuringpliance and timelypletion of assigned tasks as well as other auxiliary laboratory support functions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Perform laboratory testing using standard laboratory procedures, principles, practices, concepts and theories.
• Works under the guidance of an experienced QC Analyst or Trainer to master task-specific SOPs untilpetency has been demonstrated and documented.
• Read and understand assigned protocols/SOPs.
• Collect, record and consolidate data in adnce to protocols/ SOPs ensuringpliant, accurate and traceable data.
• Track andmunicate progress of testing activities.
• Ad to safety andpliance guidelines.
• Perform data entry for reports and maintain accurate records.
• Analyze data and troubleshoot out-of-specification results.
• Assist in the preparation, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory and facility equipment.
• Promotes overall cleanliness/neatness of lab and storage areas.
• Communicate problems or potential issues in a timely manner.
• Review of testing/documentation to ensure accuracy, andpliance.
• Maintain an understanding of cGMP andpliance in an analytical laboratory setting.
• Perform regular upkeep of employee training records.
• Prepare and align individual performance goals with department goals.
• Completepany-required training programs.
• Ad to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures for health, safety, and environmentalpliance as outlined in thepany’s Standard Operating Procedures, Chemical Hygiene Plan, Emergency Contingency Plan, training memoranda, policy memoranda, Safety Data Sheets, Specification Records, etc.

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline is preferred or relevant experience. Entry level position up to 3 years of QC experience. All prior laboratory experience will be considered towards years of experience. Individual should be proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Strong attention to detail High level of integrity and reliability Ability to manager multiple projects simultaneously Stronganizational skills Excellent written and verbalmunication skills Self-motivated Ability to work both in a team environment and work independently

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, listen and hear instruction, interact with customers, consumers, and/ or other employees. This position requires normal amount of walking and standing. Employee must be able to bend at the waist and lift up to 40 pounds.

Work Environment:
