Schedule:
3rd shift: 11pm to 7am Monday through Thursday Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM Training We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Largo, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for performing in-process and final inspections, ensuring all products meet the required specifications. You will work in a fast-paced, air-conditioned environment, with opportunities for overtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Understand and apply quality standards including
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and
FDA 21 CFR
Part 820, as they relate to risk management, environmental controls, inspections, material handling, and other compliance areas. Carry out all product-related quality control tasks in line with documented procedures. Maintain and adhere to documentation control systems, including digital document management platforms. Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting. Accurately follow written instructions, technical drawings, and work forms related to product processing and quality checks. Manage and document product non-conformance issues, including investigation and resolution. Participate in activities such as qualification processes, first article inspections, and validation protocols according to defined procedures. Interpret and apply technical drawings and specifications with accuracy. Utilize standard measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, torque testers, thread gauges, go/no-go gauges, gage blocks, and scales. Create and maintain detailed records and controlled documentation with accuracy and consistency. Efficiently manage tasks, setting priorities to ensure effective use of time. Demonstrate adaptability by handling workplace changes, competing priorities, and unexpected challenges. Foster a positive, respectful team environment and collaborate effectively with others. Follow all regulatory guidelines, company policies, standard work procedures, continuous improvement initiatives, and safety protocols. Maintain consistent and punctual attendance. Perform additional responsibilities as needed.
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing setting, ideally in plastic injection molding, medical devices, or precision components. Practical experience ensuring compliance with product quality requirements. Background in high-volume manufacturing and assembly processes, preferably involving molded plastic components and finished assemblies. Ability to manage and prioritize several tasks and projects at once. Skilled in reviewing quality specifications and providing actionable feedback. High school diploma required; a bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Previous experience as a Quality Inspector in a cGMP and ISO 13485-compliant environment is preferred.
