Job Title:
QC Sample Coordinator Reports to: QC Laboratory Management
YOUR PURPOSE
The QC Sample Coordinator is responsible for ensuring all samples delivered to the laboratory are distributed and tested per internal specifications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
: Receive and distribute all in-coming laboratory samples, including raw materials, finished products, and in-process. Verify in-coming samples against internal specifications to ensure all necessary samples received for laboratory testing. Initiate and monitor all stability studies, create stability protocols, enter stability data into the stability software. Perform stability pulls, coordinate sample preparation/submission and testing, publish a monthly stability pull/testing. Manage Reserve Sample Program. Respond to emails and changes to documentation as requested. Work closely with laboratory management regarding time lines and stability sample testing progress. Delivers assigned tasks on time. Function and problem solve independently without supervision. Knowledge of cGMP and GLP. All other duties as assigned by Quality Control Lab Supervisor/ Management. Willing to work overtime, holidays and weekends as requested by QC Lab Management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills a must. Strong proofreading skills, attention to details a must. Must acquire knowledge of cGMP, GDP and GLP. Must be able to utilize Microsoft Office. Work Flexible hours as required by Management. Work independently as well as in team environments, in a fast-paced setting. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills in English, understand both oral and written instructions and be detail oriented. Must be punctual and have good attendance. Basic understanding and interpreting of Work Instructions and SOP’s. Education Associate’s Degree or High School.
