Join the Birdon team and help ensure USCG boats are safe and reliable! Our Test and Trials Managers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include: Develop and maintain customer-approved Test and Trials Procedures and Processes. Ensure Procedures and Processes comply with relevant provisions in the WCC contract. Collaborate with all stakeholders to employ a “Build-to-Test” approach. Support Day-to-Day Test and Trials Team to successfully carry out Test and Trials initiatives IAW required scope of work. Implement testing processes for all vessel structure, equipment and systems, up to and including acceptance trials and delivery of vessels, in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements. Respond to all inquiries of customers, agents of regulatory bodies regarding vessel testing. Maintain/Manage documentation of testing for all projects, including the submission of standard and special reports as assigned. Use this information to improve testing for follow-on vessels. Addresses/Tracks deficiencies, evidenced as a result of testing, and collaborates with production, engineering and/or supply chain to correct deficiencies. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment of strategies.
