The Quality Assurance Coordinator assists the QA Supervisor/QA Manager in the development and preparation of various components to ensure that our system meets our stated objectives and is in line with our quality policy. Carry out his/her activities to maintain a quality assurance process that meets the standards of the requirements under which we are certified and assists in the establishment and maintenance of all standards required to serve our core markets. This position shall understand and assist with monitoring and maintaining the quality system to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and

ISO 14001

standards while carrying out his/her activities in a way that the quality system and the customer’s requirements are fully understood by the staff who must use them to achieve their tasks effectively while assisting with internal audits required to maintain conformance with

ISO 9001, ISO

14001, and 5S. The Quality Assurance Coordinator shall utilize measurement tools such as calipers, durometers, tape measure, and laser inspection machines to inspect suspect material and products for conformance and create non-conforming reports when necessary. Monitor calibration log, calibrating in-house equipment on time, ensuring outsourced calibrated equipment is sent for calibration on time, and updating the log to reflect current calibration dates. The Quality Assurance Coordinator creates and modifies work instructions that are well understood by the staff to reflect the requirements and important things to watch for to effectively carry out the orders. This position utilizes software such as System Analysis Program (SAP), Logistic Inventory Scheduling Application (LISA), Diffusion, and IsoVision to perform day-to-day job duties. The Quality Assurance Coordinator shall support the Quality Supervisor with day-to-day responsibilities and assume the responsibilities of the Quality Supervisor in his/her absence and support the production team with questions and concerns in a timely manner to effectively complete tasks assigned and meet deadlines. The Quality Assurance Coordinator shall collaborate with the team to properly manage customer complaints, corrective actions, and improvement requests with 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Quality tools and assist in the verification of First Article parts and creation of

documentation. Effectively communicate Quality related topics necessary for the staff’s understanding. Other duties may be required to ensure we meet our customer shipments on time.
