Job Summary:

The Quality Control Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in a manufacturing environment. This role includes processing and maintaining document certifications, performing inspections, and ensuring products meet customer and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with precision measuring equipment, document control, ISO 9001:2015 compliance, and quality control methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Requests (CAR). The Quality Control Supervisor will also be responsible for monitoring production quality issues, conducting inspections, and handling non-conformities.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation and Certification Maintenance:

Process and maintain document certifications, including control plans, process sheets, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards. Handle document control and ensure up-to-date records are maintained for internal and external audits.

Precision Measuring and Inspection:

Perform inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and check gauges. Conduct first and last piece inspections to ensure product compliance with customer specifications and quality standards. Monitor production processes and complete inspection sheets with detailed and accurate data. Perform routine inspections of receiving materials, internal parts, and finished goods, and issue rejections when necessary.

Ensure familiarity with

ISO 9001

2015 standards and maintain compliance across the production process. Participate in internal and external ISO audits to ensure processes and documentation meet requirements.

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in a quality control role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Experience with document control, first and last piece inspections, and precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures, check gauges). Familiarity with

ISO 9001

2015 standards and experience with PPAP, FAI, and document auditing. Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Request (CAR) experience. #Indeed2024
