The Quality Assurance Supervisor is responsible foroverseeing quality control operations, leading a team of qualityinspectors and technicians, and ensuring all manufactured productsmeet established quality standards, customer specifications, andregulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadershipskills, technical expertise, and the ability to drive continuousimprovement initiatives. This is a 2nd shift role with the hours of3:00-11:30pm, Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities Supervise andtrain QA personnel in inspection techniques, quality standards, andoperating procedures Lead root cause analysis and implementcorrective and preventive actions Identify opportunities andsupport creation and implementation of plant processes and/orproduct improvement projects Develop, review, and maintain qualitydocumentation, including inspection plans and test proceduresCollaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams toaddress quality issues and implement corrective actions Implementand maintain quality management systems Ensure adherence to companyquality policies and industry regulations Schedule and assign workactivities to ensure adequate coverage across all shiftsCollaborate with union representatives on quality-related mattersand grievance resolution Communicate with suppliers to addressincoming material quality issues Communicate with customersregarding quality requirements and complaint resolution Participatein internal and external audits Qualifications An associate degreein quality management, quality engineering, or a combination ofrelevant education and experience 3 years of quality assuranceexperience in a manufacturing environment 2 years of supervisory orleadership experience Strong understanding of Quality ManagementSystems (QMS) principles Ability to coach, develop, support, andguide a team with technical skills Good communication andinterpersonal skills with the ability to effectively presentinformation and respond to questions Demonstrated knowledge ofmeasurement and testing equipment Proficiency in quality tools andmethodologies Proficient in MS Office applications such as Excel,Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word Excellent leadership, communication,and problem-solving skills Understanding of manufacturing processesand production systems Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degreein Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field Experiencewith quality software systems and databases Familiarity withregulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA as applicable) Experiencein union manufacturing environment What we offer Base salary andbonus program Medical, dental, vision, life insurance effective ondate of hire Generous 401(k) Plan Defined Contribution Plan Paidvacation and paid holidays Tuition reimbursement Professionalgrowth and development programs to help advance your career!
