POSITION SUMMARY
: The Quality Control Manager is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the quality assurance and control processes within our EMI/RFI shielding manufacturing operations. This role ensures that all products meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications. The Quality Manager will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems (QMS), manage the Quality department personnel, coordinate Supplier quality initiatives, conduct ISO internal/external audits, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, AS9100, IPC, EIA and other relevant standards. Oversee inspection, testing and validation processes to ensure products meet Customer and Internal Quality specifications. Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures for quality issues. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements. Train and mentor quality assurance teams on best practices, testing methods, and compliance standards. Work closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to improve processes and resolve quality concerns. Monitor key quality performance indicators and drive continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other methodologies. Manage supplier quality programs, including audits and material conformance verification. Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment, preferably in EMI shielding, electronics, or aerospace industries. Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other quality management systems. Experience with statistical process control (SPC), failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), and root cause analysis. Proficiency in quality tools such as PPAP, APQP, and GD&T. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Certification in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or ASQ (American Society for Quality) is a plus.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Quality Management System, quality procedures, requirements, work instructions, and other required documentation must be followed. Team members are responsible to be aware of the company’s quality policy and quality objectives to support the continuous improvement projects and contribute to the overall mission of the organization.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
Works primarily in a climate controlled manufacturing environment with regular exposure to dust, odors, oil, and fumes with moderate noise. Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about the facility. Sedentary, sitting, walking, occasional lifting (overhead, waist level) from floor, bending, and reaching. PPE required may include safety glasses and gloves in designated areas of the facility.
