The position will report directly to our Director of Food Safety Quality Assurance & Production and will be responsible for assisting with all of the administrative responsibilities related to maintaining high level food safety & quality assurance standards in a food manufacturing environment. An ideal candidate will have a bachelor degree related to the position and certification in HACCP or PCQI is a plus. This is an entry level FSQA Coordinator position and as a result we are in search of someone who is eager to learn and work under an experienced FSQA Manager.
Overview of Responsibilities:
Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following…
- Assists with scheduling appropriate inspections and tests as it relates to FSQA throughout the organization.
- Ensures proper and accurate FSQA record retention within the organization.
- Ensures product ingredient labels are updated as needed to ensure compliance.
- Will work directly with an external lab to oversee the product sample process which includes sending samples and maintaining all records to ensure compliance.
Requirements and skills:
Proficient in the use of MS Office Excellent organizational skills Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
