Food Manufacturing Quality assurance 4.4 4.4 out of 5 stars Orlando, FL 32809 National meat and seafood supplier is now seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join their team, the ideal candidate will oversee quality of the food production to ensure the best product.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm Ensure continuous improvement and adequacy of quality and food safety systems to support end to end compliance meeting regulatory, business, and customer expectations Enforce processes and programs for Food Safety Programs to ensure regulatory compliance Conduct 3rd party and internal quality assurance audits Manage audit/inspections conducted by government agencies, customers, etc Provides food safety training and support for divisional staff and customers Implements and oversees programs and processes to ensure compliance with governmental regulations Interprets, understands, and communicates governmental regulations (FDA/USDA/State Department of Agriculture) as applicable to quality assurance/food safety. Oversees supplier management programs, such as the Supplier Approval Program Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Strong foundation in quality audits, manufacturing, and quality control Proficiency in quality inspection, analysis, and assurance Familiarity with quality management systems and QA/QC processes Knowledge of governmental regulations (FDA/USDA/state Department of Agriculture) as applied to quality assurance/Food safety. Must possess and display strong analytical, critical thinking, collaborating and problem-solving skills. Must think strategically, develop a winning vision and be a leader of influence.
