This position requires a dynamic individual who can help ensure the Food Safety and Quality systems are in compliance with internal, regulatory agencies and customer specifications. Duties for the position consist of the following: Execution of continuous improvement strategies Ensure compliance with regulatory, business and customer expectations Enforce Food Safety Plans, Preventative Control Plans, Meat and Seafood HACCP plans Conduct 3rd party and internal quality assurance audits Manage Audits and inspections conducted by government agencies and customers Manage recall process including QA Traceability, from product recall to customer communications Provides Food Safety Training Oversee supplier management programs Prior experience with the following is required: Knowledge of governmental regulations Significant experience with HACCP certification and training including prior implementation experience 3 years working in a food production facility 2 years of prior leadership Bachelor’s degree in relevant course of study Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving mentality and experience In order to be considered for this opportunity, please submit your resume and salary requirements.
