We are seeking an experienced Traveling Federal Quality Control Manager (QCM) specializing in Environmental projects to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations across various federal sites. The primary objective is to oversee and implement quality control measures during project execution, ensuring adherence to EM-385 and other relevant guidelines. Key Responsibilities Oversee and implement quality control plans for environmental projects in compliance with federal standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure adherence to quality protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with project teams to identify potential quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
Prepare and maintain quality control documentation and reports for project compliance and audits.
Train and mentor project staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Liaise with government agencies, including USACE and NAVFAC, to ensure project compliance with federal requirements.
Manage quality control activities related to remediation, ground works, excavation, earthworks, and sitework projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
5+ years of experience in quality control management within federal projects.
Remediation and Earthwork/Siteworks.
Strong knowledge of
EM-385, USACE, NAVFAC
guidelines, and DoD requirements.
Experience with remediation, excavation, earthworks, and sitework projects.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage project teams effectively.
Certification as a Quality Control Manager (CQCM) preferred.
Ability to travel frequently between project sites as required. Benefits
