QA/QC Specialist Job Description This role involves inspecting parts for the defense and aerospace industry. The company specializes in refurbishing old parts and providing them to clients who require specific components that are no longer manufactured. Responsibilities (Quality Control) Conduct thorough inspections of parts used in the defense and aerospace industries. Ensure quality control standards are met during the inspection process. Utilize first article inspection techniques to verify part specifications. Operate ERP systems to manage inspection data and part inventory. Employ tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges for precise measurements.
Quality Engineering Manager:
Lead a team of five quality engineers Expert with GD&T Complete directive forms and matrixes Handle the hiring and training of employeers Must have an mechanical engineering degree 80-100K salary based on flexibility plus a production bonus and other incentives (401, medical, dental, and health) Essential Skills Proficiency in quality control processes. Experience with first article inspection. Familiarity with ERP systems. GD&T Skilled in using calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Come from Aerospace manufacturing Additional Skills & Qualifications Strong attention to detail is crucial for inspecting parts. Experience in the defense and aerospace industries is beneficial.
