opportunity for a Quality Control Supervisor for a large food manufacturer in Tucker $65,000-$80,000 DOE This position involves approximately 50% of time spent on the manufacturing floor and 50% of time spent in the lab.

Key Responsibilities :

Guide and develop QA team members through training, goal-setting, and performance evaluation Create work schedules and assign daily tasks for quality personnel Monitor all aspects of food safety compliance and product quality standards Conduct sampling and inspection of incoming materials and ingredients Manage non-conforming products through investigation and resolution processes Serve as quality representative with vendors, customers, and internal departments Investigate customer complaints and implement corrective actions Represent facility during regulatory inspections and customer audits Support specialty certifications Assist with new product development initiatives Verify packaging and labeling accuracy during production Conduct internal audits and participate in mock recall exercises Identify safety concerns and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications :

Minimum 3 years quality experience in food manufacturing industry Previous supervisory experience preferred (minimum 1 year) Demonstrated knowledge of food safety systems: GFSI, SQF, HACCP, GMPs, FSMA HACCP and PCQI certification (or willingness to obtain) Experience with microbiology and sanitation protocols Proficiency with quality improvement methodologies and statistical process control Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail Proven ability to manage diverse priorities in a fast-paced environment To apply for the Quality Control Supervisor position, please submit your resume in response to this ad or fill out an application on our website, impactstaffing.com.
