Job Summary:
The Corporate Quality Manager is responsible for leading Quality and Product Compliance initiatives across the organization. This position will provide leadership, planning, communication and coaching skills to ensure safe production of high quality products to meet customer needs in the most cost effective and safe manner. Ensures compliance with Company Mission Statement Safety & Quality Policy, regulatory and customer requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and direct all Quality and Compliance-related programs for the organization. Manage WinCup’s food code compliance program by developing policies, procedures and assisting plants with program adherence, annual audit preparation and audit corrective actions. Establish Quality performance goals and strategies and effectively communicate Quality metrics across the organization. Assess trends, take appropriate actions. Initiate and Lead Quality improvement projects and Quality Team activities across multiple manufacturing sites within the US. Maintain Corporate Quality System documentation and assist with site specific documentation. Maintain Customer Complaint process and ensuring root causes are identified and corrective actions are implemented. Ensure Food Safety, Quality and Process Control issues are successfully resolved utilizing effective use of Root Cause Analyses and Corrective and Preventative Action tools. Promote a data-driven approach to all process and quality related problems. Work with Product Teams to understand customer requirements and improve customer satisfaction. Partner with Supply Chain Team on Supplier Qualifications, Supplier Audits, and new product launches. Mentor and Train Site Quality Managers who are responsible for their local quality programs including SQF Preparation and Audits. Drive plant accountabilities. Provide technical leadership for the plant Quality Labs. Ensure that all plant quality testing equipment is calibrated, and testing methods are followed. As a key member of the
Product Innovation Teams:
develop and coordinate product quality qualification path through to commercialization. Develops quality control plans. Maintain membership in applicable quality or environmental associations to stay informed of new developments and trends. Prepare legal notices, postings, and reports as required by government and regulatory bodies. Additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required (preferably in Engineering, Science or technical field) Quality-related certifications (especially from the American Society for Quality – ASQ) a plus Minimum of 5 years leading quality teams in a production environment, packaging products a plus. Proven Quality leader at building highly effective cross-functional teams, engaging and motivating teams. Experience in SQF. Proficient with Minitab or other statistical analysis tools Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
