Quality Control Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager for a 12-month project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a Quality Control Manager projects of similar size and complexity. Candidates must be familiar with the requirements of EM 385-1-1 and have experience in hazard identification and safety compliance. The role requires the capability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings. Responsibilities Directly oversees and reviews the entire documentation and physical inspection phase of the workflow process. Ensures compliance with quality standards and specifications. Collaborates with project managers, superintendents, and other in-house and external personnel to produce and document a quality product. May manage and mentor a team of leaders and professionals in production control, materials management, etc. Essential Skills At least 5 years of experience as Quality Control Manager Strong understanding of construction processes and quality control procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in documentation and record-keeping. Additional Skills & Qualifications EM385-1 certified. OSHA 30 certified. Federal construction experience. Construction safety experience. NAVFAC experience is a plus. Site safety management.
