Transmission Line QC/Construction Manager Per Diem is offered for this position. Must be able to work in Louisiana full time. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee substation and transmission line projects in North Louisiana and throughout the Gulf Coast region. This role will play a critical part in a major expansion for a data center, involving the construction of multiple substations and transmission lines. Responsibilities Drive subcontractor performance and lead crews in building substations. Ensure overall production and quality of the job and manage crew(s). Lead and manage a team of upwards of 25 people at a time. Oversee company projects during the construction and commissioning phase. Ensure construction subcontractors execute work in compliance with safety, quality, reporting, contract standards, change management, risk management, and schedule requirements. Communicate effectively with project team and stakeholders through standardized reporting and appropriate construction meetings. The position offers a standard per diem and time-and-a-half compensation for a base 50-hour work week, with 10-hour work days over 5 days. Future project opportunities are likely due to a growing footprint within Entergy and other utilities. Holidays and PTO are offered, with billing arrangements for vacation hours. The project is expected to last several years, primarily located in Louisiana, offering long-term work with a healthy mix of distribution and substation/t-line projects.
