Job Description
Description We are looking for an experienced Quality Engineer to lead and optimize our Quality Management System in Brewer, Maine. This role is critical in ensuring all products meet rigorous quality standards and industry compliance requirements. The successful candidate will excel in managing quality processes, conducting audits, and collaborating across teams to uphold customer and regulatory expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and continuously improve the Quality Management System to ensure compliance with industry and customer standards.
- Develop and validate quality processes to maintain high product standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and root cause analyses to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality procedures with organizational goals.
- Ensure adherence to DoD compliance requirements and other industry regulations.
- Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track quality metrics.
- Utilize ERP systems and other tools to streamline quality-related processes.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality standards and procedures.
- Manage customer service interactions related to quality concerns and resolution.
- Drive initiatives to improve manufacturing and logistics processes for better product quality. Requirements
- Proven experience in Quality Management within a regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of DoD compliance and industry standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and CRM tools.
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and logistics.
- Ability to conduct detailed inspections, audits, and analyses.
- Expertise in KPI reporting and tracking.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Background in working with tools like 3M, Eaton, and About Time.
