Position Opportunity This role manages all activities associated with their front-line team, to positively impact the overall department. You will lead a team of 15 to 80 hourly quality control, manufacturing, warehouse, or traffic associates with varying levels of experience, along with possibly salaried exempt associates. You will be responsible for optimizing operational efficiency, driving cost reduction initiatives, maintaining food safety and regulatory standards, and developing a high-performance team. We strongly prefer candidates with a solid regulatory and quality background, including experience with
PCQI, HACCP, GFSI.
Alchemy system knowledge is a plus. Essential Duties/Responsibilities Lead operations across production, packaging, warehousing, and shipping. Perform item releases, record reviews, and revise SOPs and production documents. Conduct sanitation and safety monitoring throughout the facility. Maintain and manage required team training and supporting documentation. Ensure compliance with food safety standards, including HACCP and GFSI. Provide support and documentation during audits. Identify root causes and drive corrective actions (RCA). Maintain accurate inventory and reduce waste. Motivate, coach, and develop team members. Collaborate cross-functionally and lead improvement projects.
Qualifications Education/Training/Certifications:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
PCQI, HACCP, GFSI
experience preferred Alchemy system experience is a plus
Related Experience :
2+ years in manufacturing leadership, preferably food/beverage Experience with audits and regulatory compliance
Knowledge/Skills Experience:
Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards TPM or Lean Manufacturing experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
Travel Requirements:
Travel between sites within Alamance County.
