Install Quality Assurance and Permit Coordinator One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning of the Outer Banks 701 West Fresh Pond Drive, Kill Devil Hills, NC 27948
Description:
One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Install Quality Assurance & Permit Coordinator to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring all residential installation projects are properly permitted, inspected, and compliant with local regulations. You will serve as a liaison between homeowners, contractors, and municipal inspectors to ensure timely inspections and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Permit Application Management:
Process and submit permit applications promptly after a job is sold. Ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate for each project.
Inspection Scheduling:
Schedule permit inspections with the appropriate parties, including contractors, homeowners, and municipal building inspectors. Ensure inspections are completed and finalized with the municipality within 10 days of job completion.
Communication & Reporting:
Immediately report finalized inspections and any outstanding issues to the Install and Operations Managers. Maintain clear and timely communication with relevant stakeholders regarding inspection status.
Documentation & Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results. Report any inspection findings that require follow-up or additional repairs to the Install Manager for preparation of reinspections.
Requirements:
Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and follow-through Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Proficient in using computers and software for documentation and scheduling Previous experience with permit applications or construction/installation processes is a plus High school diploma or equivalent required
