Quality Assurance / In-House Services Manager Moore County Government Carthage, NC 28327 ESSENTIAL

JOB DUTIES

Performs difficult professional and responsible administrative work assessing in-home care needs of older adults and ensuring the quality of their care through essential functions such as: assesses care needs, develops plans, ensures quality of care, maintains records and files, prepares reports, and does related work as required. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Aging Services Director.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Thorough knowledge of physical, psychological, financial and environmental needs of older adults Thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of public and private social service organizations Thorough knowledge of current social, economic, and health problems and of human behavior and social functioning of older adults Ability to solve problems within scope of responsibility Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, associates, and the general public Ability to analyze facts and exercise sound judgment in arriving at conclusions Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, orally and in writing Ability to prepare clear and concise reports

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an appropriately accredited institution with two (2) years of supervisor experience OR Associate degree from an appropriately accredited institution of nursing and five (5) years of professional nursing experience with two (2) years of supervisor experience AND Registered Nurse with the
